Celebrate our latest achievements and successes
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve achieved Cyber Essentials certification following an assessment of our controls by an independent assessor.
Cyber Essentials is a UK government scheme which has been developed with industry partners, including the Information Security Forum (ISF), the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium (IASME) and the British Standards Institution (BSI).
It provides a clear statement of the basic controls all organisations should implement to mitigate the risk from common internet based threats, and through the Assurance Framework it offers a mechanism for organisations to demonstrate to customers and others that they have taken these essential precautions.
Graven Hill website goes live
We’re delighted to see the new website for Graven Hill Village Development Company go live. We’ve project managed the development of the website over the last seven months. Graven Hill is the largest self and custom build site in the UK and they needed a very intuitive site that can be easily updated throughout their fast changing programme of activity.
The aim of the website is to support Graven Hill to excite potential customers with the possibility of a self build home and advertise the release of plots of land across the 188 hectare development. The website has a very flexible content management system (CMS) and interactive plot finder to enable the team to keep customers updated with new information.
Strategy and business case success
We’re proud to announce that we’ve successfully completed a joint IT Shared Services ICT Strategy and Business Case for a new ICT transformation programme for the Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council partnership.
Our team of consultants worked alongside internal staff and wider business areas to define and shape the future approach for ICT. Following presentations to full council meetings we were given the green light to proceed with the transformation programme. We’re very excited about this achievement and look forward to delivering the programme.
HR & Payroll takes off
We’ve been busy supporting Birmingham Airport to implement Phase 2 of its new HR and Payroll system and we’re pleased to announce that the new modules went live in May 2017. Phase 2 included several work streams such as automated absence calculations for staff sickness entitlement and sick pay, online overtime claims and a new process for reporting sickness absences. Our team had a key role in providing project management, business analysis, project support and project assurance roles.
PMO is ready to go!
We’re currently working with Birmingham Airport to help design and implement a new set of processes, procedures and systems for their new Portfolio Management Office (PMO).
The PMO will cover the airport’s entire range of projects including development, commercial and business improvement activities. The work is in its final phase of implementation and we are in preparation for handover to their PMO team.
