New websites for both Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council launch as part of programme.
We’re very proud to announce the go live of new websites for both Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council. Launched on Tuesday 26 September, they feature a contemporary look and feel, alongside clear and accessible user experience design.
Whilst the sites are completely separate, they are powered by the same Jadu content management system (CMS). Using one single CMS to deliver websites for two different councils is a first in local government web design and is something we’re extremely excited about.
Our role
The success of the sites is down to the hard work and dedication of the whole project team. We led on all aspects of the project and managed the process closely to enable smooth delivery.
Fantastic feedback
Local residents and businesses have praised the new websites, finding them easy to use and perfect for accessing council services. Staff are also thrilled and are busy planning new online services to be made available in the future.
We’re very pleased to announce that Cherwell District Council’s instance has climbed a staggering 262 places in the Sitemorse 2017 Q4 UK Local Government INDEX. An industry standard benchmark, the INDEX measures local government websites against a number of indicators, including quality, accessibility and function. This is a fantastic achievement and fitting testament to a successful project.
