Our daring fundraisers

Entec Si CEO, Eman Al-Hillawi and team, Tim Powlson, Justine Howl and Megan Evans, joined TV starlet Jo Joyner (of Eastenders and Ackley Bridge) in a daring 110 ft abseil from Millenium point, a longstanding icon of the Birmingham City skyline. Fundraising for Birmingham Chamber of Commerce’s nominated charity, PANS PANDAS, the team’s descent has raised much needed funds for the charity, to support families living with neuropsychiatric conditions.

About PANS PANDAS UK

PANS PANDAS UK is the only UK charity supporting children and families living with these conditions and raising awareness and understanding of the conditions, making the work they do even more important. 1 in 200 children across the UK are suffering from either PANS or PANDAS, and without the charity’s hard work and fundraising efforts from the public, these families may never receive the support they need.

Paediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) and Paediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS), are conditions that can often appear suddenly, affecting both the physical and mental health of children and young adults. Caused by common infections, PANS or PANDAS is a result of a misdirected immune response, or brain inflammation.

Our fundraising efforts have so far exceeded the £800 target by 50%, bringing the final total to £1,200. If you would like to donate to support families suffering from PANS or PANDAS in the UK, donate at our JustGiving page.

People are at the heart of everything we do at Entec Si, and that doesn’t stop at our team or clients. As a company, we are invested in change for good, sometimes that means supporting clients on huge transformation projects, and sometimes it means abseiling down the side of a building to raise important funds for families in need.
