Supporting the Future Faces of Greater Birmingham

Entec Si’s very own Consultant, Charlotte Stanyer, is helping to facilitate the roll-out of the next phase of the Future Faces Mentoring scheme. Broadening the opportunities available to Birmingham’s young professionals, Charlotte will be directly helping to match the next cohort of mentors and mentees whilst supporting them throughout their journeys.

Having been a part of this initiative herself, Charlotte has experienced first-hand the value that the right mentorship can have on your career. Acting as both a voice of reason and a listening ear, a mentor can help to guide you along your career path.

Charlotte commented

“Mentorship is so valuable for career development, and I’m grateful that my own experience with the Future Faces Mentoring scheme showed me this early on in my career. Helping to match the next cohort is so rewarding and I’m excited to continue driving this initiative forward.”

Finding the right match

Finding the right person for you is essential, and matches can include anything from working in the same industry to sharing a similar background before entering the world of work. This scheme does exactly that, it recognises the importance of tailored coaching for young professionals.

And for mentors themselves, the value of the scheme is just as rewarding. As part of their own leadership development, mentoring is the perfect opportunity to impart knowledge, share experience and witness how this kind of one-to-one support can inspire and influence the next generation.

Supporting hundreds of mentees

First launched in October 2022, the scheme has already matched over 115 mentors and mentees, massively impacting the careers and development of the young professionals who are part of it. With the first meeting already kicking things off for the next cohort, Charlotte is keen to get started with driving this – we’re so proud of everything she’s helping to achieve!

If you’re a Future Faces member interested in getting mentorship, or an industry professional interested in becoming a mentor yourself, reach out to Charlotte to find out how you can get involved with the scheme.
