Going from strength to strength
As 2025 comes to a close and the December festivities are in full swing, I have been reflecting on a particularly fantastic year for the team here at Entec Si. From professional to personal achievements, it’s safe to say that 2025 has been a year of growth all-round.
We’ve been going from strength to strength, continuing to show the resilience and determination that helps us to consistently deliver on client projects. It’s this constant drive to achieve the best results that has carried us through some of the trickier projects that we’ve got over the line this year – it’s also what got us featured in Consultancy UK’s list of top consulting firms. We’ve also welcomed new members of the team who have hit the ground running and even a brand new office space to accommodate us as the business grows, but don’t worry, we haven’t gone far!
AI adoption
In 2025, we’ve watched AI take the business world by storm, and as organisations are now constantly searching for the next best way to implement it, we’ve noticed one lesson that stands out against the rest – people will always remain at the centre of change. It’s clear that AI offers value for many businesses, with no signs of slowing down in 2026.
However, as we enter the new year, Entec Si remains focused on the importance of bringing people along any change journey. Successful adaptation and adoption of new systems takes time and, while AI is a useful tool, 2025 has shown that people are critical to achieving change that lasts.
Work/life balance
This people-focused approach is something ingrained in our culture, and is one of the reasons we made the 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services ™ list. Prioritising work-life balance, promoting flexibility and encouraging open and honest engagement have been key to this.
Recognising the hard work of staff is also essential to a happy, thriving workforce, and it was lovely to demonstrate this ourselves by taking a well-deserved away day at Hoar Cross Hall Spa in Staffordshire this year. After a summer full of busy client projects, meetings and deadlines, it felt like the perfect way for the team to recharge and reconnect.
My personal development
Reflecting on my own growth and leadership development this year, I’ve continued to share my voice in my local business community. Being elected onto the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Council and being appointed to the advisory board for the Centre for the New Midlands were both moments of real pride and personal achievement. I’ve always strived to make a difference and use my knowledge to create real change in the region. Throughout this, building genuine relationships, showing integrity and being authentically myself have been lessons that were constantly re-affirmed, and that I’ll be taking into the new year confidently.
Into 2026
Looking back on the year, I’m immensely proud and grateful for all the amazing highlights and team development I’ve watched unfold. It only makes heading into 2026 even more exciting, as Entec Si focuses on driving continued growth and meaningful partnerships as I lead it through its next chapter.
