Operational, financial and people improvements
I support Entec Si’s business processes. This covers all of the internal operations that enable the business and our consultants to function efficiently. I manage financial, legal and contractual tasks and the delivery of ICT support for the company. Additionally I support tender submissions for potential new projects.
What I love about my job
Without doubt, it’s supporting such a great bunch of talented and lovely people to help them deliver change for our clients. Alongside this, I enjoy the variety in my day-to-day work and contributing to the business running as smoothly as possible. Consequently I have to be organised and adaptable as priorities often shift.
Career highlights
There are two that stand out for me. My first is managing the programme management office for the Library of Birmingham Transformation and ICT programme. For my second highlight in 2000 I defined business requirements for Birmingham City Council’s trade waste service and led the implementation of the replacement core IT system.
