Amarpreet Kaur Assi

I manage or am involved in projects and programmes of all sizes. This involves careful resource planning to ensure every stage goes smoothly and delegation to other team members to make the most of their expertise. Much of my day-to-day involves keeping tabs on the different parts of my projects and keeping them ticking along.

What I love about my job
I thrive on being busy and love getting stuck into any task, whenever it’s needed. Building relationships is a key part of my work at Entec Si and it’s something that our blended team model is based upon. By working together, whether it’s with clients or colleagues, we can achieve great results. I also love organising absolutely anything and everything!

Career highlights
Where to start? My very first commission with Entec Si was providing IT desk support for a client, and I really enjoyed that. I also have a particular fondness for projects we worked on for Birmingham Airport. These included their network refresh and testing work for their visitor pass rollout. Being a consultant allows you to both help our clients and their people, but also give you insight into so many different industries and business models, which I love.
