Strategic advice and direction
My role is to deliver our marketing and communications strategy. I work closely with comms agencies to identify and maximise opportunities to promote the company, highlighting the talents of our brilliant people. I also sit on our Operational Board, where I advise on the marketing, PR and internal communications strategy.
What I love about my job
From delivering client projects to organising employee events, I love the variety of work. A big part of this is the autonomy I’m given and the trust that’s put in me. What’s really special is the supportive and fun team of people I work with. They’re a great bunch, and I like that we all share the same values.
Career highlights
Where do I start? Highlights include organisaing major events, such as the G8 conference, Pope Benedict XVI’s UK tour and Concorde’s final UK flight. Recently I’ve enjoyed writing a change management playbook for a university and completing a 110ft charity abseil. And did I tell you I’ve met George Clooney?
