Peter Marsden

As Executive Chair I provide oversight for our business and support consulting and project delivery for our clients. I use my experience to help advise them on strategies for change, as well as oversee the tried and tested approach that we have refined to shape and develop strategy.

What I love about my job
In three words, it’s “people, people, people”. Whether that’s making a difference for our clients or working with our team, it’s about bringing the best out in individuals. I love the flexibility and ever-changing projects that we work on. We never stand still but always move forward to seek new challenges and learn new skills.

Career highlights
I’d say it’s discovering my strengths and passions during my late 30s. This epiphany spurred me to build Entec Si from ground zero and to define and shape the ethos and values of the company. Alongside this I found a great business partner in Eman, and we’ve never looked back. Spending 5 years full time delivering the Library of Birmingham is a project I will always remember.
