For me, being a people person is core to successful project and programme management. As well as my day-to-day tasks, I enjoy the time we spend training clients, helping to embed change and supporting transitions to new ways of working.
What I love about my job
Learning is important to me. I love the variety of projects and the different skills I get to learn as a result. Similarly, I thrive working alongside a diverse range of clients and colleagues, which helps me grow professionally and personally. Being part of an organisation that embraces change and gives its staff opportunities to shape that journey is vital.
Career highlights
I used to be a primary school teacher and there are plenty of similarities between teaching and consultancy. Primarily, being organised and keeping people on track, but also impacting the lives of others. This is what we do and I feel like I’m making a difference to organisations and people.
